i hope you have been having a lovely few weeks. a lot has happened here, but alas... i haven't had the chance to do any blogging. we have our Bible study coming over in about 20 minutes so again, just one little thing for now...
this is the saturday morning market in town! fresh local fruits and veggies... one of my favourite parts of the week! :)

ooh and this is the "yucca" that we made tasty falafels out of last time
it's also been crazy windy here, like at the front of the ferry... only it's been howling non-stop for almost a week!
it's actually knocked me off balance a couple times and it really feels like you have to swim through it! it's blown our power and internet out numerous times all week, but we've been lucky enough at least that we haven't been losing our water, like many of our classmates! we've been getting a bit tired of the crazy wind, especially when our internet goes out... but this morning julianne and i decided to do some interpretive dancing to the howling wind - i was the wind and she was the curtains... and we rolled on the floor laughing for the next 10 minutes. and we decided the next time we want to be upset at the wind, we have to wind-dance for 5 minutes and see if we have anything more to say. :)
